Fitness NSW Awards Night
Last Saturday night Adro, his wife Sam, my father-in-law Steve, and I went to the Fitness NSW annual awards night. It was held at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney and it really was a great night. No, we didn't win any awards but we were'nt nominated either :)
Sam only has a week to go now so she is heavily pregnant (and I mean heavily!). She hasn't put on a much weight but boy does she have a belly!
I haven't been to an industry function in years as I got sick of the crowd (that's right, I don't like hanging out with personal trainers either!) but it was refreshing to see the change in the industry. The show-ponies, steroid freaks, and barbie dolls are becoming less involved and in their place are professional, educated, and caring individuals.
Anyway, after meeting Justin Tampsett and Robert Barnes from Fitness NSW I have a great deal of confidence in their organisations ability to improve the industry. Keep up the great work guys!
